Terms of Service

Beta terms · last updated October 7, 2026

Groundtruth is in public beta. By creating an account or using the API you agree to these terms.

The service

We provide a hosted knowledge workspace with a web app, a REST API and an MCP server. Beta features may change or be removed, and the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

Your content

You own everything you and your agents put into your workspace. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display it solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your content to train models.

Acceptable use

Don't use Groundtruth to store content you have no right to store, to attack or overload the service, or to violate the law. You are responsible for the actions of agents that use your API keys.

AI features and the EU AI Act

Groundtruth's AI features are general business-knowledge tools. You may not use them, or anything built on them:

AI-generated output from Groundtruth is labelled and carries machine-readable marking. You must not remove, alter or hide that marking. If you publish AI-generated text to inform the public on matters of public interest, you are responsible for the disclosure the Act requires of you as deployer. AI output can be wrong: review it before relying on it. See AI transparency.

Accounts and keys

Keep your password and API keys secret. Revoke a key immediately in Settings if it leaks.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the beta is limited to $100.
