Day two: launching on groundtruthhq.tech
Yesterday we built Groundtruth. Today it moves to its own home at groundtruthhq.tech, gets a fresh look and real email, and goes to its first testers: our friends and family.
Two days ago Groundtruth was an idea: what if your company's knowledge were something your team and your AI agents could ask questions of, and get answers they can trust?
Yesterday, day one, we built it. A wiki where every answer cites its source and agents connect over MCP. An Agent Store with agents that track contract cancellation dates and churn risk. A board where work goes to people and agents alike. A connector for Claude. Write mode for long documents, and downloads to PDF, Word and Markdown. And before calling it a day, we ran a penetration test and a full acceptance test against all of it, and fixed what they found.
Today is day two. Here's the plan.
We're launching on groundtruthhq.tech
Last night we registered groundtruthhq.tech, and today Groundtruth moves there. The .ai version was tempting, but at this stage we'd rather spend the money on time with users.
If you already use Groundtruth, nothing breaks: your workspaces, API keys and Claude connections keep working, and the old address keeps working too.
A fresh look
A new address is a good moment to look at how Groundtruth presents itself. We're reworking the look and, more importantly, how we explain what it does in one sentence. If you've seen the site before, expect it to change over the next few days.
Email that comes from us
Today we set up proper email on our own domain, so messages from Groundtruth come from @groundtruthhq.tech. That also unlocks the emails a real product needs: invites, password resets and alert digests.
The first ones go out today: everyone on the waitlist gets an email letting them know Groundtruth is live and how to get in. If you signed up, keep an eye on your inbox, and check your spam folder just in case.
Friends and family go first
Before we open the doors wider, a small group of friends and family gets in first. We're not asking them to be nice. We're asking them to use it for real work and tell us where it breaks:
- Set up a workspace for your team, or for your household
- Connect Claude, or the AI assistant you already use, and ask it about your own documents
- Write something long in Write mode: a policy, a plan, a proposal
- Export it and send it to someone
We'll watch how people get started, note every place they hesitate, and fix things the same day.
Want to be one of them? Join the waitlist and reply to the email with "count me in", or write to hello@groundtruthhq.tech.
Tomorrow
We'll share what we learned from the first testers: what worked, what didn't, and what we changed because of it.
